About CARAS

Who we are...

• The Center of Applied Research and Advanced Studies (CARAS) was established at the Faculty of Pharmacy – Cairo University in December 1989 after approval of the Supreme Council of Egyptian Universities. The center provides advanced research and analytical services that support pharmaceutical development and applied scientific research in accordance with national and international standards.

• In alignment with Egypt Vision 2030, the Faculty of Pharmacy – Cairo University maintains its national leadership and continues its international distinction in pharmaceutical sciences and pharmacy education.

Mission:

• The Faculty is committed to preparing graduates who adhere to the professional and ethical values of the pharmacy profession and who are capable of competing locally and internationally through advanced academic and professional programs that respond to market developments. The Faculty also supports applied research that contributes to knowledge development, pharmaceutical industry advancement, and national healthcare.
