The Medicinal, Aromatic, and Toxic Plant Experiment Station at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Cairo University, offers several services to enhance educational processes, including:
- Providing medicinal plants to students at the Faculty, as well as to students at several other faculties of pharmacy in private and public universities.
- Providing field visits for pharmacy students from various universities to learn about medicinal and toxic plants and methods for extracting their active ingredients.
The station also supports scientific research in the field of medicinal plants by providing several services, laboratory equipment, and advanced research facilities, including:
- Providing various types of high-quality medicinal plants.
- Providing plant drying services using different methods, in addition to plant grinding services.
- Providing equipment for hydrodistillation of essential oils.
- Providing equipment for pressing seeds and extracting oils such as sesame oil.
- Providing areas for cultivating specific medicinal plants for research purposes. Scientific.
- Modern monographs have been created for all medicinal plants on the farm. Using the barcode, the monographs can be accessed to identify the plant and its medicinal uses.

Other Services:
- The station has built two new plastic greenhouses for use in germinating hydrangea seedlings.
- The large one measures 8 meters by 45 meters.
- The small one measures 5 meters by 20 meters.
- The station also sells many medicinal herbs at nominal prices, such as spearmint, wild mint, anise, hibiscus, and many other herbs with medicinal and aromatic uses.
- In addition to many high-quality medical and cosmetic products prepared within the station, such as waxes and oils like jojoba oil and rosemary oil.
- It also provides a unit for extracting medicinal plants, producing up to 50 kg of medicinal plant powder and concentrating the extract on a semi-industrial scale.
